Support the Department of Religions and Cultures in Memory of Dr. Marc Lalonde
Marc began as a graduate student with the Department of Religion, as it was then known, receiving his MA in 1988 and his PhD in 1995. Over the course of his 27-year career, Marc taught nearly 140 undergraduate and graduate courses, supervising and serving on the committees of multiple graduate students. As a highly skilled teacher and encouraging mentor, whose classes were demanding yet rewarding, Marc cared deeply about his students.
He was a consummate colleague, generous with his time and knowledge, and always eager to help others. Students and faculty colleagues knew they could always count on Marc. He will be greatly missed.
In recognition of his years of service to his students, his department, and Concordia University, we invite you to contribute to the Department of Religions and Cultures in his memory.
