The Art Volt Collection Patrons Fund
The Art Volt Collection showcases works of recent Faculty of Fine Arts graduates, helping them launch their careers by connecting them with art patrons.
Modeled as a lean startup, the Art Volt Collection (AVC) is a professional, juried sales and rental marketplace for recently graduated artists from Concordia’s Faculty of Fine Arts. It provides cohort-based training on the basics of building a commercial career, while connecting artists with collectors interested in up-and-coming talent. The AVC features artists and their work on a professional online gallery, and builds publics by brokering art sales and rentals through an e-commerce interface with minimum overhead costs, while ensuring the tracking and preservation of artworks for posterity.
